Annual Sports Gala
ASWED organizes an Annual Sports Gala that brings together youth from the Chipursan community across all three regions. Our tournament features competitive leagues in shooting ball, volleyball, and cricket—promoting teamwork, healthy competition, and community spirit among students and young professionals.
The Sports Gala serves as more than just athletic competition. It creates a platform for networking, mentorship, and leadership development. Participants build lasting friendships while representing their villages and regional teams, strengthening the bond between Chipursan's diaspora and homeland communities.

ASWED Family Picnic
The ASWED Family Picnic is our most anticipated annual gathering, bringing together families from across Karachi, Islamabad, and Gilgit for a day of relaxation, connection, and celebration. Set against scenic outdoor locations, this event provides a refreshing escape from city life while strengthening community bonds across generations.
More than just a recreational outing, the picnic serves as an informal platform for discussing community matters, sharing updates from Chipursan Valley, and welcoming new families into the ASWED network. Children connect with their heritage through storytelling and games, while elders share wisdom and preserve oral traditions of our Wakhi culture.

EDUCATIONAL EVENTS & SESSIONS
ASWED conducts regular educational events and sessions designed to guide students from Chipursan Valley through every stage of their academic journey. From university admission workshops to scholarship application assistance, we ensure no student misses opportunities due to lack of information or guidance.
Our specialized preparation sessions for prestigious programs like GPISH (Graduate Program in Islamic Studies and Humanities) and STEP (Secondary Teacher Education Program) have helped numerous students gain admission to top institutions. We also host career counseling seminars connecting young professionals with mentors from their fields of interest.
